Autumn? Blah.

Google is celebrating the first day of Autumn today, which can be figured out on their page. I saw a special logo and thought, "Ugh, not the first day of Autumn already?!" I want it to still be summer!

Red Sox vs. Patriots

I noticed that the New England Patriots are playing at the same time as the Boston Red Sox today. As I have been getting into following these teams again, my first reaction was, "Oh no!" but then changed to, "Nice."

I wonder if John Henry and Robert Kraft have a hand at televising these games simultaneously for a nice little rivalry to see which fans pay attention to whom.....

State Primary

There is a state primary today, for those of you unaware. I do not think that it got much attention because many officials are democrats running unopposed, at least in Allston Rock City and surrounding areas. But go vote!

Deadline for the Novermber 4, 2008, presidential election is October 15, 2008. If you need to register to vote where you live in MA, you can request a form at this link. Register to vote, or Puff Daddy or Piddiddle or whatever that guy chose to nickname himself will kill you!

MxPx @ Harper's Ferry tonight!!

I will be seeing MxPx tonight at Harper's Ferry as the last of three shows in a row for me before voting tomorrow. They play with Lagwagon. I have seen MxPx a few times now and they are rad!

James. James?

James is playing The 'dise tonight and I am going! Originally scheduled just for tomorrow night, they added tonight's show after tomorrow's show sold out and I am thankful for this. I am not typically into the Britpop scene but James is a pretty fun listen.

Back in the swing of things...

I am going to see Alkaline Trio, Flogging Molly and The Kooks tonight thanks to a very special person that got me a free ticket! It will be the first of three shows in three days for me, a string that I have not had similar in a while.
