Good riddance, 2008

In a year where I lost my job, failed at getting a new one, saw the US economy bend over backwards and realize what the people around me are really about, I am glad to see 2008 go and while 2009 does not have much positive outlook (for me at least), I hope that 2009 stops the "this year is worse than last" trend.
