Tuesday night fun
I went to the theater with Tim and Alex to catch the Sox-Royals game on the big screen. It was fun being there without working at the time. I was going to simply walk in without passes but when we got to the individual theater that the game was in, John was there and asked if I had passes yet. It was no big deal to get free passes, but if we didn't run into him, then Jim would have let us in anyway.
We sat through the game and Tim was kinda flacky about getting snacks cuz he wanted candy but had no money. We also decided during the game to go out to Friendly's afterwards. When the game was over and we started driving off, it seemed like we didn't know where we were going even though I said all along to go to Friendly's. Alex was mentioning Wendy's and Pub 99 so Tim was all confused driving. We started going in one direction and then made a complete circle because Tim needed money at the bank.
I had come up with the brilliant idea to go eat at Denny's (I just love eating breakfast foods at midnight there!) so we ventured to that end of Worcester. Tim wanted to go bar hopping after that so we did another hour or so at Octaine. This was rather pointless, though fun. I saw a girl there, cute one too, that used to work at Denny's and it was extremely amusing to me that I just happened to see here at the bar since I had been thinking about her when I was at Denny's. I guess it's just one of those odd moments in life that make ya laugh.
We had a good time. I had been feeling peculiar since Denny's over the fact that we were out on a Tuesday night, though it's certainly not my first by far. It still feels rather novel to me sometimes though, three years after graduating from high school, that I'm easily able to go out on a weeknight and have fun at a bar or club, or anywhere for that matter. I hope I never lose that feeling, it is wonderful.
